Our Silver Spring studio is on the second floor of Noire Salon on Georgia Avenue in downtown Silver Spring, an easy drive from Bethesda, Takoma Park, Rockville, Wheaton, Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia. It's the same women-only, appointment-only care clients know from Inglewood, now rooted in Montgomery County.
Downtown parking has a few rules worth knowing, and Maryland appointments carry a longer cancellation window. Everything you need is below, so you can arrive relaxed and on time.

Finding the Door
Arriving at Noire Salon
Noire Salon is upstairs. Use the street-level door on Georgia Avenue beside Zed's Cafe and come up to the second floor.

Arrival Instructions
Parking in Silver Spring
Use the county garage, not the street. Five steps, start to finish.

Drive to the Thayer–Silver Spring Garage (Garage 3).
It's a Montgomery County public garage. The entrance is on Mayor Lane, between Silver Spring Avenue and Thayer Avenue. Open driving directions (opens in a new tab)

Park in the 2000 section only.
Other sections of the garage won't work for your visit.

Pay in the Passport Parking app.
Enter garage zone #303 and your space number, then start your session. Get the Passport app (opens in a new tab)

Photograph your license plate and space number.
If a question about your session ever comes up, that photo settles it.

Walk to 8225 A Georgia Avenue.
Use the street door beside Zed's Cafe and come up to the 2nd floor.
Do not park in the 2-hour street spaces.
Downtown Silver Spring's 2-hour meters are strictly enforced. You will be ticketed even if you keep feeding the meter, and your appointment will run longer than two hours. Use the garage.

Good to Know at Silver Spring

Cancellations at Silver Spring
Maryland appointments require 14 days' notice to cancel. Same-day no-shows are charged 100% of the appointment cost. Booking fees are non-refundable.
Establishment Consultation Prep
Arrive with hair freshly washed within the last 24 hours and completely dry. Let it air-dry in twists, flat twists, or cornrows. Do not flat iron or blow dry. If your hair isn't prepared this way, the consultation is cancelled and you'll need to rebook.
No Walk-Ins
Every appointment is reserved in advance through the booking site. This keeps every appointment focused and your time entirely yours.
